Cbus has a proud history as one of Australia's first industry funds. Cbus was formed in 1984 when construction and building workers won the right to superannuation and established BUS and AUST (later merged to form Cbus).

Today, Cbus is the leading Industry Super Fund for the building, construction and allied industries.
As one of Australia’s largest super funds, Cbus provide superannuation and income stream accounts to more than 775,000 members and manage over $65 billion of their members’ money (as at 30 June 2021). Cbus members include workers and retirees, their families and employers.
Cbus is a significant investor in the Australian economy. They continue to grow our investment in both infrastructure and property assets in Australia and overseas. Cbus’ property development company, Cbus Property, provides a unique opportunity to build commercial and residential property across the country and create jobs for their members
